University of the Southwest in New Mexico Adoption Help

The Christian Child Placement Service (CCPS) is a full service licensed New Mexico adoption agency.  Choosing an agency to work with while considering adoption is vital. There are large out of state facilitators and for profit agencies that advertise on the web that are not licensed in New Mexico and only want to use birth parents for the precious child they are considering placing for adoption. Ultimately they are not considering the current emotional needs of the birthparents, and continued emotional needs in the long run after the birth of the child.

CCPS provides various forms of assistance for birthparents considering adoption.

At CCPS the birth parents select the adoptive parents they want to raise their baby.

A CCPS caseworker is available to take birth mothers to doctor's visits so they don't have to go alone.

After the baby is placed in the adoptive home pictures and letters can be provided to the birth parents if they desire communication.

Support is always available...whenever someone in an unplanned pregnancy needs us; we are here to talk day and night!

We continue to support the birth parents throughout the pregnancy and beyond, helping them get connected to resources that will aid them in life after a placement.

There is no easy solution to an unplanned pregnancy. Each option with an unexpected pregnancy is hard and has its own difficulties. The birth parent can empower themselves by getting as much information as they can get about their options. So they can carefully and weigh each option to be able to make the right decision for them and their baby.
